BY THE WAY TAY JOBO MRS PURING LAPITAN HAS STARTED HER PIGLET DISPERSAL PROJECT THRU MAKILALA PIGNET MODEL. SHE HAS 20 PIGLETS AT PRESENT. SHE WORKS WITH THE OFFICE OF THE PLANNING OFFICE, MUNICIPALITY OF MAKILALA AND SPEND HER TIME ORGANIZING COMMUNITIES ON HER SPARE TIME. SHE IS ALSO OUR WOMEN ORGANIZER. HER INITIAL BENEFICIARIES ARE:

Mrs. Lapitan is a widow her husband died last year. Any assistance to her regarding her dispersal project would be greatly appreciated. She is following the Mak Pignet contract and closely work with the K of C, Women and Youth.
I will send you reports on this and photo docs.She cannot be contacted thru email as she is still practicing the skill. I will pass to her any info.

Hello James, As promised I created the website for Makilala Piglets Project. Please make your comments and corrections so that I can incorporate them, before launching that in our pignet groupsite, and for you to disseminate to your friends abroad. Later, if we can develop also Pigcawayan and Davao City, we can accelerate our programs in the whole region and really create an impact in stimulating the local economy, slowly but surely. Thanks Tay Jobo for the immediate reply. I am presently forming the Makilala Indigenous Peoples Cooperative, the papers have been submitted to the CDA for approval. I am suggesting that the project be handled by the MAK IP MPC of which I am the management contractor. This has been approved by the board of directors in our previous meetings in August and thereafter. Eventually the management of the coop shall be turned over to the IPs once the operation is stable and systems shall have been in place. This will take more or less in five years. Personally I guarantee that the management and implementation shall be fully taken care of as far as the Piglet project is concerned. The IPs have a special program under our present administration. There are 24 brangay councils managing the affairs of about 8,000 IPs of the Bagobo Tagabawa tribe. A central Federation is operating and holding office in the municipal grounds. Please find a picture. I am the management adviser of said federation and have been raising financial and technical support for the said group. I do have a vast network here in North Cotabato though I am based in Makilala. Since it will be your policy to stick to one area then I am accepting all the responsibilities relative thereto. Thank you for the trust and confidence and I thank you also for this initiative.
